How it works

Three steps, no hassle

A Short is a regular YouTube video in 9:16, up to three minutes long. SaveAllVid recognises links of the form youtube.com/shorts/… and offers the same resolutions as the player.

  1. In the Short, tap Share and copy the link, or open it in Chrome on your computer.

  2. Paste the link in the app or click the extension icon: the available resolutions appear with their size.

  3. Choose one and download; the video stays vertical, without added borders.

Which resolutions are available for Shorts?

The ones the creator uploaded, normally up to 1080 × 1920. Each option shows its size before downloading.

Does the downloaded Short carry a YouTube logo?

No. The file is the video as it was uploaded; YouTube draws its interface on top of the player, not in the video.

Can I repost my Short on TikTok or Instagram?

If the video is yours, yes: the vertical file is valid for Reels and TikTok. Check that you also hold the rights to the music you used.
