How it works

Three steps, no hassle

A clip is a short cut of up to sixty seconds from a stream. Twitch keeps it in several qualities and SaveAllVid lets you pick one, which is handy when you edit highlight videos of your own channel.

Open the clip and copy its address (clips.twitch.tv/… or twitch.tv/channel/clip/…).

Pick the quality, for example 1080p or 720p, and download the MP4.

Frequently asked questions

Twitch clips

Does the clip keep 60 fps?

Yes, if the stream was broadcast at 60 fps the highest quality keeps that frame rate.

Is the chat included in the file?

No. The file contains only the video and sound of the stream, without the chat overlay of the web page.

What happens if the clip is deleted from Twitch?

The copy on your device stays, but a deleted clip can no longer be downloaded. Save important clips before the channel removes them.
