How it works

Three steps, no hassle

Instagram only shows stories to people who are logged in, so a website alone cannot read them. That is why stories are downloaded with the extension or the app, which use your own session on your device.

  1. Log in to Instagram in Chrome on your computer, or add your account under Accounts in the Android app.

  2. Open the story you want to keep and click the SaveAllVid icon, or share its link to the app.

  3. Tick the photos and videos you want and download them all in one go.

Frequently asked questions

Instagram Stories

Why can't I download stories by pasting the link on the website?

Because Instagram requires a logged-in session to show a story, and the website never has access to your account. The extension and the app run on your device and use the session you already have.

Does the other person see that I saved the story?

SaveAllVid sends no notification. Opening a story with your session counts as a view, exactly as when you watch it in Instagram.

Can I save highlights too?

Yes, highlights are stories kept on the profile. Open the highlight and download it the same way.
