How it works

Three steps, no hassle

A reel is stored by Instagram as one file with video and audio together, so there is nothing to convert: SaveAllVid finds that file and your device saves it as it is.

  1. Open the reel in Instagram, tap the three dots or the share arrow and copy the link.

  2. Paste the link here, or open the reel on your computer and click the SaveAllVid extension icon.

  3. Press Download: the reel is saved as an MP4 in your downloads folder.

Instagram Reels

Is the reel saved with its music?

Yes. The file includes the audio track exactly as it was published. If Instagram muted the reel because of a music claim, the copy will be silent as well.

Can I download a reel from a private account?

Only if your own Instagram session can see it. Use the Chrome extension, which works with the session open in your browser, or add your account in the Android app.

In what resolution are reels saved?

In the one Instagram stores, usually 1080 × 1920. SaveAllVid does not upscale or recompress the video.
